Downtown Orick is two and a half miles away and is located near the mouth of Redwood Creek and surrounded by Redwood National and State Parks. Does 'Jurassic Park' ring a bell to you? Jurassic Park II was filmed in the primeval Fern Canyon! Big Lagoon, Stone Lagoon, and Freshwater Lagoon are ideal for kayaking, swimming, sailing, and fishing.
